“NFT analyst Loki The Bird recently posted a troubling update on the purportedly rug-pulled Momoguro NFT project, sharing concerns about the project’s deteriorating status. The X user pointed out that the situation seems to have worsened significantly, marking a stark turn of events just two months after a whistleblower’s initial alerts.”
The NFT analyst asserted that Maureen, the CEO of Baobab, made an appearance in an August Discord Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) session in response to persistent community requests. Unfortunately, the session fell far short of the community’s expectations. No community members were allowed to engage or ask questions; it essentially transformed into a one-sided monologue where Maureen lauded Momoguro’s purported performance.
Additionally, the X user revealed that team member @Inside_Tokens had remained silent for two months, while the other team member, Mitchell, remained active but avoided addressing significant questions.
According to Loki The Bird, the once-vibrant Momoguro Discord community has now become eerily quiet. He observed a conspicuous absence of responses to community queries, a lack of staff presence, and an almost complete exodus of community members. Holders, whales, and others were reportedly banned from both the server and X (Twitter).
Furthermore, the NFT analyst alleged that the promised global IP marketing campaign never materialized. He noted that five months after the announcement of an agency partnership with Momoguro, it became apparent that it was entirely fictitious and not based in reality.
The NFT analyst believes that the current state of affairs substantiates the earlier claims made by the whistleblower. He also pointed out that the past two months have been marked by efforts to isolate the remaining loyal supporters, with no discernible roadmap for the project’s future.
It’s worth noting that Momoguro has generated a total volume of 10,824 Ethereum (ETH), with a floor price of 0.01 ETH. In dollar terms, these figures translate to $17,664,768 and $16.32.
